Transit Map
After logging all of our commutes to and from the art building for two weeks, including form of transportation, length, and location, I visually aggregated the information in the form of two maps.
The first of which(1) was a perspective driven mapping, with each of the circles representing a contributor, and the color representing different forms of transportation (mixed use is reflected through a proportional mixture of colors).
The second of the mappings(2) was based on transit, distance, and frequency– through the display of a ring as one round trip, size correlates to distance, and color represents different modes of transport.
